Are your products handmade or machine made?
Our pieces are made using handloom and hand-knit techniques. They are not mass-produced by machine, which means each piece carries small handmade variations in texture, finish and character.
What does ply mean in cashmere?
Ply refers to the number of fine cashmere threads twisted together to create one yarn. For example, 6 ply means six fine cashmere threads are combined together before weaving or knitting.
What is the difference between 6 ply, 8 ply and 10 ply?
The higher the ply, the fuller and warmer the yarn becomes. Cashmere yarn is naturally very fine, so combining several threads together helps create volume, softness, warmth and a more substantial feel.
Why do you blend cashmere with cotton, silk or wool?
Some pieces are blended with cotton, silk or other natural wool fibres to create extra volume, improve durability and give the fabric a beautiful drape. Blending also allows us to create different textures, weights and finishes.
Do you offer 100% cashmere?
Yes. We can offer 100% cashmere pieces depending on the product and request. Some designs are made as blends, while others can be made in pure cashmere.
Are your products made to order?
Many of our products are handmade or made to order. Please allow approximately 4–7 business days for production before dispatch.
How long does delivery take?
Delivery usually takes approximately 3–5 business days after dispatch within Australia.
Where are your products dispatched from?
Most orders are dispatched from Melbourne, Australia. In special circumstances, some handmade or made-to-order pieces may be dispatched directly from Kathmandu, Nepal.
